Terms of Service

These terms cover your use of the hosted GoalNexa service (the "Service"), run by Nguyen Xuan Binh ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to them. If you use the Service for an organization, you agree on its behalf.

1. The Service

GoalNexa lets you track goals, metrics and check-ins, alone or in organizations, through the website, its API and connected AI assistants (MCP). The self-hosted software is licensed separately under its own license; these terms are about the hosted Service only.

2. Your account

  • Give accurate details and keep your password and access tokens safe - you're responsible for what's done with them.
  • You must be old enough to form a binding contract where you live (and at least 16).
  • Tell us at xuanbinh91@gmail.com if you think your account was compromised.

3. Plans, payment and renewal

  • The Free plan costs nothing and has the limits shown on the pricing page. Paid plans raise those limits.
  • Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders: it processes the payment, adds sales tax or VAT where it applies, and handles billing enquiries and returns. Paddle's buyer terms apply to the purchase. Paid plans renew automatically each month or year until you cancel.
  • You can cancel any time from Billing ("Manage subscription") or the link in your Paddle receipt. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you paid for, then the account returns to the Free plan. Refunds: see the refund policy (14-day money-back guarantee).
  • An organization gets the best plan among its owners. Going over a plan's limits after a downgrade deletes nothing; you just can't add more until you're back under them.
  • We may change prices or limits. Changes to a paid plan apply from your next renewal, and we'll tell you first.

4. Your content

Your goals, metrics, check-ins and other content stay yours. You give us permission to store, process and display them only to run the Service for you and the people you share them with. You can export them through the API at any time.

5. Acceptable use

Don't use the Service to:

  • break the law or infringe anyone's rights;
  • store malware, or content that is abusive, hateful or harassing;
  • try to access other people's data, probe or overload the Service, or get around plan limits or rate limits;
  • resell the Service without our written permission.

6. Availability and changes

We work to keep the Service available and your data backed up, but we provide it "as is" and can't promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may change or improve features; if we ever shut the Service down we'll give at least 30 days' notice so you can export your data.

7. Suspension and termination

You can stop using the Service and ask us to delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts the Service or other users at risk, and will tell you why unless the law or safety prevents it.

8. Liability

To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before it. Nothing here limits rights you have as a consumer that can't be waived.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms; the date above shows the latest version. For material changes we'll notify account holders before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after that means you accept them.
